The unique Operatical in the courtyard of the Silversmithing Museum.
The Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP), in collaboration with the Municipality of Ioannina and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ioannina, is organizing the musical event “Lyric Cinema”, on Thursday, July 18, 2024 (21:00), at the Museum of Silversmithing.
The contemporary “Operatical” format, accompanied by strings and piano, will perform well-known songs from world cinema as well as lyrical melodies from Oscar-winning films, uniting operatic singing with contemporary sound. In addition, original Operatical musical compositions as well as arrangements of favorite film tunes will take the audience on a journey to the magical world of the big screen.
Operatical consists of: Nadina Tziatziou (soprano), Thanos Zisi (tenor).
The musicians are playing: Alexandra Nousia (violin), Eleni Papadopoulou (violin), Christina Kaminari (viola), Lydia Panagiotarea (cello) and Marios Kazas (piano).
