Russia’s diplomatic documents on the establishment of the Greek state are expected to be handed over from the Russian state archives to the Greek government, according to Giorgi Muradov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimea and its representative to Russian President Putin.
Russia will deliver to the Greek language documents of Russian diplomacy dating back to the founding of the Greek state and a little earlier than that.
This was made clear by Georgy Muradov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government and its representative to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a speech at the Forum of Popular Diplomacy, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
“These are unique documents of the State Archives of the Russian Federation related to the early period of the formation of the independent Greek state,” Muradov said, referring to the work of the people who discovered them.
Among other things, he stressed that these were references by Ioannis Kapodistrias himself (s.s. of the first governor of Greece and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation) to Tsar Nicholas I, when he gave him a report on the development of the situation related to the Greek revolution. .
